Large architect designed, thatched holiday home
(Sorry, but we do not speak German - please contact us in English)Large thatched holiday home on a large, undisturbed site. Large enclosed patio with a set of outdoor chess. Large playground with a playhouse, swings, a play tower and soccer goals. Guest house with billiards and table tennis. A spacious, modern holiday home with a lot of charm and high ceilings (5m) located near a beach (Sejerøbugten / Bay of Sejeroe) with a bathing
jetty. The house history: The house was built in 1963 by one of the Aller-directors with a main building of approx. 110 sqm and a guest house of approx. 45 sqm. In addition, an outbuilding of approx. 32 sqm. The guest house was originally a garage, but has as a part of the 2004-refurbishment now been upgraded to a modern guest house. The house has during the recent years undergone a renovation. The house is situated in a site of approx. 3500 sqm with thick and partly wild-growing vegetation. Originally, the house was built on a flat ground overlooking Sejerøbugten because of an almost total lack of other buildings and almost no vegetation. The name of the house is “Birkegården” (meaning Birch Farm), which can be dated all the way back to the house’s origin. Hence the large birch trees on the site are approx. 40 years
old.The house can sleep a total of 16-18 people and the beds are allocated as follows: rear bedroom – 4 seats spread over 2 bunk beds and 1 double bed. Middle bedroom – 2 seats spread over 2 bunk beds. Front bedroom – 2 seats in a double bed. 1st floor / loft in open connection with the living room – 3 single beds. Guest house / arcade – 2 seats in a double sofa bed. In addition we have 3-5 mattresses for free use around the house.
